So, my daughter is a cheerleading rockstar. That's all there is to it. She's been promoted from Tiny Cheer to Mini Cheer. The names make me smile. Her new class is mostly 5-year old girls. She's 3 1/2. I told you, rock.star.
At her class this week they were warming up with the 10-14 year old girls. They had to run 15 laps. I panicked that I'd made a bad decision and put her in a class she wasn't ready for. Why? Because she can't run 15 laps around a 40x40 floor? Nope. Because she can't count to 15. True story. She skips 13 every time.
But she did just fine. She is literally half the height of most of the girls she was running with and she was sad they didn't pretend they were flying when they did the butterfly stretch like her old class does, but she just loves flipping around like a monkey. A highly awesome cheer-monkey.
